The Mad Science of Human-Animal Hybrids

I've got a post up on Everyday Biology that takes a look at the mad science of human-animal hybrids, in fiction and real life.

It's horrifying! (Or at least the pictures are)

So your hybrids aren't going to be ugly brutes?

I kind of like the idea that animalized humans (or humanized animals) aren't necessarily hideous.

Idea is pretty old -see all these awesome pics related to Indian Mythology-
Lord Vishnu had an Incarnation of half lion and half man-NARSIMHA = Nar means man ,Simha means lion !

Is Narsimha considered an especially frightening incarnation?
